We are delighted to welcome Simon Rowan, who has joined Grafton Capital, as a Partner. Simon joins Grafton Capital from Dunedin LLP, where he was a Partner and member of the Investment Committee which oversaw the highly successful Dunedin Buyout Fund III, which was focused on tech-enabled businesses.
Simon led the technology enabled services investment team at Dunedin and sat on the Board of Incremental Group, a market leading digital transformation specialist. Prior to Dunedin, Simon worked in New York in HSBC Investments fund of funds team before helping to establish HSBC UK Private Equity from London. He has significant investor NXD experience which has encompassed organic and acquisitive growth strategies, international expansion, technology investment, management strengthening and exit planning. Simon is currently a board advisor to an award winning and highly disruptive EdTech business.
Simon has featured in a number of private equity awards lists including Real Deals “Future 40 – top dealmakers who will shape the future of private equity”; Financial News – Rising Stars; and Real Deals “40 under 40 – top dealmakers under the age of 40”. Simon has significant experience of working with founder led management teams and entrepreneurs. He is also a CFA Charterholder and achieved international honours at rugby whilst at university.
